LIBERTY, Mo., Dec. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Ferrellgas Partners, L.P. (NYSE: FGP) announced today the acquisition of Blue Flame Bottle Gas Service, Inc. which has customer service locations in Tucson, Sierra Vista, and Casa Grande, Arizona.

The acquisition brings Ferrellgas approximately 8,600 customers and adds more than 3.5 million gallons to the company's annual retail sales volume.

The acquisition is the 56th since Ferrellgas went public in 1994 and is the third acquisition completed by the company this fall.
