LIBERTY, Mo., Sept. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ferrellgas Partners, L.P. (NYSE: FGP), the nation's second-largest retail marketer of propane, announced today that it has changed the expiration date of its previously announced tender offer for its 9-3/8% senior secured notes due 2006, to 9:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, on September 24, 2002. The tender offer was previously scheduled to expire at 9:00 a.m., Eastern Daylight Time, on September 27, 2002. The other terms of the tender offer, including all conditions, remain unchanged.

As of 5:00 p.m., Eastern Daylight Time, on September 10, 2002, holders of notes had tendered and not withdrawn $158.9 million aggregate principal amount of notes, representing approximately 99% of the $160 million of notes outstanding.
